Nuad Bo-Rarn: Energy & Flexibility

Welcome to Tranquil International Spa, an oasis of calm in Bengaluru. Immerse yourself in the ancient art of Thai therapy, a holistic and energizing treatment.

Thai therapy, also known as Nuad Bo-Rarn, is a traditional healing practice deeply rooted in ancient Thai culture. It is based on the concept of energy lines (Sen lines) and focuses on restoring the body's natural flow of vitality. Unlike passive therapies, Thai massage is an active recovery session that combines yoga-like stretches and deep compressions.

Practiced on a traditional floor mat, guests remain fully clothed throughout the session. The practitioner guides your body through slow, rhythmic stretches and deep compression sequences that relieve joint stress and align structural pathways.

The Acupressure Technique

Your therapist will provide clean, loose cotton garments designed for flexible movement. Using palms, thumbs, elbows, knees, and feet, the therapist applies slow compressions along Sen lines and executes assisted stretches. This combination is meditative, encouraging deep breathing and immediate muscular release without the use of oils or lotions.

Therapeutic Benefits

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Thai massage suitable for everyone? +

Thai massage is highly therapeutic but involves significant stretching. It may not be suitable for guests with acute joint inflammation, disc slip histories, osteoporosis, or severe cardiac conditions. Please inform your therapist of your medical background before the session.

What should I wear during the session? +

You do not need to bring special clothing. Tranquil Spa provides loose, comfortable cotton pajamas designed specifically to facilitate easy stretching and movement during the treatment.

Why is the session duration longer? +

Nuad Bo-Rarn requires progressive stretching of all core physical pathways (Sen lines). A minimum of 90 minutes (up to 120 minutes) is required to systematically address the entire body and avoid rushing the stretch stages.
